Worldpay Cuts Residuals to Inactive Mercury ISOs

We have no idea how widespread this is.

It looks to be triggered on old Mercury ISOs (who Vantiv acquired and then Worldpay acquired and then FIS acquired).

Few thoughts.

We love how this note was sent October 26 for residuals that stopped on September 30.

Classic Payments Bro.

Not sure how kosher this maneuver is. Like can you just stop sending residuals? Was this part of the ISO/agent agreements?

Maybe, but doubtful that the ISO/agent has the agreement anymore to see.

How does Worldpay define adding “limited” merchants?

How does Worldpay define “elevated levels of attrition”?

You mean the garbage fees Worldpay stuffs in merchant portfolios made customers flee?

NO. WAY.

Never a dull moment in payments.

  • Sounds to me like the best way to get NCR off of the WorldPay payroll. Obviously attrition is a big problem for Aloha and since they are pushing NCR payments, well….
